Trendy Italian
Bar Pitti is a good spot to order a familiar plate of pasta and an old-world red, while scouting the crowd for a B-list celebrity (see Nan Pierce from Succession). The spot is old-school-cool: blackboard menu with rotating specials, tiny wine glasses, and lovely patio dining.
As perfect as that sounds, the main event is muted. With apologies to its staunch sorority patrons, Bar Pitti from a strictly food perspective is somewhat overrated. The appetizers were uninspiring, and the one of the three pasta dishes was bland. A decent walk-in option for a nice day if in the area - nothing more, nothing less.
